Jacqueline Vogtman is freelance writer, editor, and proofreader who has lived in New Jersey most of her life. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in English and Creative Writing, and will be pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at Bowling Green State University. Most of her background is in writing fiction and poetry, and she has had work published in The Rectangle and GlassFire Magazine. Recently she has decided to foray into the world of nonfiction writing, and is pleased to write articles on topics she is passionate about, such as reading, literature, writing, publishing, film, and music. Her particular areas of expertise involve modernist and contemporary literature, foreign films, and Bob Dylan. Other interests include art, historic homes, gardening, vegetarian cooking, and animals. Jacqueline is actively pursuing a career as a writer, and in the future hopes to teach.
